| Setting | Available values or limit | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| PNG width | 512, 1024, 2048, 4096 pixels | Browser export choices |
| Print resolution | 150, 300, 600 DPI | PNG metadata and PDF page size |
| Logo width | 5% to 15% of symbol width | Conservative product safeguard |
| Quiet zone | 4 to 12 modules | Preserve the standard border |
| CSV batch | 1 to 100 rows, up to 1 MiB | Keep local processing bounded |
| Logo file | Up to 5 MiB | Local image handling |
| Reader upload | Up to 10 MiB | Local decode handling |
What stays on the device
Generation, logo processing, CSV parsing, image decoding and export creation happen in the visitor's browser. The site does not upload QR content, images or filenames. Its JavaScript and fonts are served from the site, and there are no third-party trackers or analytics scripts.
The optional pricing-page waitlist is separate. Submitting that form sends an email address and consent to a Worker. The Worker records the source page and creation time, with an IP-derived hourly rate key to reduce automated abuse. The privacy page explains this distinction.
What the exports contain
SVG and PDF represent the QR modules as vector shapes. An uploaded logo is normalized locally to an embedded PNG and remains raster artwork. PNG exports have the selected pixel width and physical-resolution metadata. A frame adds height below the square code without using the quiet zone.
CSV batches accept name and content columns. The content is encoded exactly as supplied rather than inferred from the selected single-code form. Filenames are sanitized and duplicates are rejected. Each generated image is decoded before the ZIP is offered, so a failed row prevents a misleading partial success.
Boundaries to review before use
The decoder confirms that this generated image returns the intended payload. It does not guarantee another camera will understand a specialized action or that a physical print will survive glare and damage. Test the receiving app and actual print workflow.
Bitcoin address checks are format-only; verify the address and amount in a trusted wallet. EPC codes use the requested invoice format, level M and no logo, with bank details shown for review. Tidy QR does not move money, host app-store landing pages, validate tickets or operate an ordering system.
Put this into practice in the QR generator, then inspect the decoded payload before printing.
