SVG and PDF keep the QR modules as vectors.
Logos and non-ASCII PDF captions are embedded images.

Scan simulator Six image conditions. One local decoder.
Put this code through a scan test.
Simulation, not a guarantee. Each altered image must decode to your exact payload. These fixed image effects do not model a specific camera or material.
Generate a code, then run the simulation.
How to read this simulation
Each effect starts from a 320-pixel-wide rendering of the current SVG. Small size reduces the artwork to 80 pixels; defocus uses two 5 × 5 box-blur passes; motion averages 11 horizontal pixels; perspective maps the image onto a tilted quadrilateral; low light applies 32% brightness with deterministic noise up to ±22 channel values; glare adds a white radial spot with a radius of 18% of the image width. These are fixed test inputs, not measured environment statistics.
The separate size sweep checks widths of 320, 256, 224, 192, 160, 128, 112, 96, 80, 64, 48, 32, 24 and 16 pixels, including the quiet zone and any caption. It reports the smallest tested width that returned the exact payload, not a physical print minimum or an exhaustive threshold. A pass only describes this decoder and this image. Calculate a print starting point and test the final material with real phones.
The exact content format

The example shows the structure, not a real recipient, booking, payment request or access credential. Replace the sample values with your own, then expand “See the encoded content” beneath the preview to inspect the exact result. Values that need escaping or URL encoding are converted by the generator.
What a phone can do with it
Apple documents QR recognition in Camera and Code Scanner. Google documents Camera scan suggestions, Quick Settings and Lens for Pixel phones. Recognizing the symbol and understanding its content are separate steps. Neither source promises that every contact, event, payment or network format will trigger the same action in every app.
Try the generated code with the devices and apps your audience uses. A scanner might show raw text when it does not support the requested action. For a URL, confirm the entire destination and test it when signed out. For a specialized format, check the imported values in the receiving app before confirming anything.
Make a print proof
Use a dark code on a light background and leave the quiet zone intact. Download SVG or PDF when your print workflow accepts vectors. If it needs a raster file, choose PNG dimensions that suit the physical size and printer resolution. A large file is useful only if the final print preserves its detail.
The built-in decoder checks that the generated image returns the intended payload. It does not test glare, ink spread, paper damage, camera distance or another app's interpretation. Print the finished artwork at actual size, scan it, and inspect the result before making a full run.
