A practical comparison

Tidy QR vs Flowcode.

Choose by what the printed code needs to do, and who should control its destination.

Free accessThe individual free plan lists 2 dynamic Flowcodes and analytics for up to 500 scans.Static creation with no account, subscription or scan counter.
Code lifetimeThe feature table says codes always scan; the analytics allowance is not a code-expiration claim. The payload stays in the image. A linked website still needs to stay available.

Output workflowReview the vendor's current export and account options.Local SVG, PNG and vector-module PDF, with image decoding before export.

Where Flowcode is a better fit

Flowcode is a better match for teams comparing conversion workflows, landing pages and integrations rather than only image creation. Its public page separates individual plans from enterprise products. The individual free offer includes dynamic codes and an analytics allowance, which Tidy QR does not provide.

Where the workflows differ

The 500 figure on the free plan concerns analytics visibility, so describing it as a limit after which the code stops would be inaccurate. The retrieved dollar price did not explicitly name a currency, so it is excluded from the USD price chart. Confirm the checkout denomination and contract scope.

A concrete choice

For a booth campaign, decide whether the job ends at opening a website or includes collecting and connecting visitor data. If reporting is part of the brief, inspect its definitions and retention rather than equating every recorded request with a person. A static QR can still point to a website that measures its own visits.

Check the actual image before committing

Download a sample from the exact option you intend to use. Read the image with a separate scanner and compare the full payload with your intended destination. A direct address and a provider's redirect address can look identical on paper while creating different account dependencies.

Keep a copy of that decoded content with the final artwork. If the project depends on destination editing or reporting, review the vendor's terms for that selected plan, including what happens when an allowance is reached or billing stops. If the project only needs a stable destination, a static code can link to a page whose content you update yourself.

Test the final physical output, not just the preview. Phone recognition, lighting, material and the destination page all affect the visitor's experience. The comparison above describes documented product terms, not a measured ranking of scan speed or reliability.
