Processed locally. A logo uses high error correction. Keep it small and test a print.
Logo and margin limits are Tidy QR design safeguards.

SVG and PDF keep the QR modules as vectors.
Logos and non-ASCII PDF captions are embedded images.

A successful image check confirms decoding here, not every phone or print condition. Plan your print size ↗
Scan simulator Six image conditions. One local decoder.
Put this code through a scan test.
Simulation, not a guarantee. Each altered image must decode to your exact payload. These fixed image effects do not model a specific camera or material.
Generate a code, then run the simulation.
How to read this simulation
Each effect starts from a 320-pixel-wide rendering of the current SVG. Small size reduces the artwork to 80 pixels; defocus uses two 5 × 5 box-blur passes; motion averages 11 horizontal pixels; perspective maps the image onto a tilted quadrilateral; low light applies 32% brightness with deterministic noise up to ±22 channel values; glare adds a white radial spot with a radius of 18% of the image width. These are fixed test inputs, not measured environment statistics.
The separate size sweep checks widths of 320, 256, 224, 192, 160, 128, 112, 96, 80, 64, 48, 32, 24 and 16 pixels, including the quiet zone and any caption. It reports the smallest tested width that returned the exact payload, not a physical print minimum or an exhaustive threshold. A pass only describes this decoder and this image. Calculate a print starting point and test the final material with real phones.
Choose the destination
Keep the contact focused on the name, business phone, email and website you want to share publicly. A static vCard stores those details directly, so a changed phone number needs a new code.
Place it where people can scan
Reserve a clear area on the back of the card. Keep the code away from a foil finish, embossing or a die-cut edge, and leave the required blank margin.
Make this template your own
The generator is set to vcard contact with the caption “SAVE MY CONTACT.” Its sample content is illustrative. Replace it, read the encoded content back and download your preferred print file. The code stores your final content directly, so check spelling and destination ownership before committing it to a physical item.
The distance shown above is a chosen planning example, not a measured limit for this use case. REHAU's distance-to-width rule gives a starting point. DENSO WAVE's module and margin guidance adds the print-density check. Use the calculator with your actual QR version and expected printer resolution; a dense payload may need a larger symbol than the distance rule alone suggests.
Check the real-world result
Test import on the address-book apps your contacts use. If vCard import is inconsistent, link to a contact page that offers a downloadable contact file and readable details.
Keep the full blank border around the code. Recheck it after putting the image into the final layout, because resizing, cropping and export settings can change the result. Save the approved artwork and the exact payload together so a later reprint can be compared with the original.
