QR codes for
library book resources.
Add a path from a book label to supporting library resources.
Website URL
Open a website directly, with your full destination encoded in the code.
25 cm
A planning input for this template. Measure your own setting.
25 mm
25 cm × 10 mm/cm ÷ 10. Check density and round up with the calculator.
Smart paste
Detection runs here. Your original stays in this box.
Use a stable page you control. The code stays the same, so keep the destination available.

Logo, margin & frame
Processed locally. A logo uses high error correction. Keep it small and test a print.
Logo and margin limits are Tidy QR design safeguards.
Batch from CSV
Upload columns name, content. Each content cell is the exact payload, such as a full URL. Your current design applies to every row.

SVG and PDF keep the QR modules as vectors.
Logos and non-ASCII PDF captions are embedded images.

A successful image check confirms decoding here, not every phone or print condition. Plan your print size ↗
Scan simulator Six image conditions. One local decoder.
Put this code through a scan test.
Simulation, not a guarantee. Each altered image must decode to your exact payload. These fixed image effects do not model a specific camera or material.
Generate a code, then run the simulation.
How to read this simulation
Each effect starts from a 320-pixel-wide rendering of the current SVG. Small size reduces the artwork to 80 pixels; defocus uses two 5 × 5 box-blur passes; motion averages 11 horizontal pixels; perspective maps the image onto a tilted quadrilateral; low light applies 32% brightness with deterministic noise up to ±22 channel values; glare adds a white radial spot with a radius of 18% of the image width. These are fixed test inputs, not measured environment statistics.
The separate size sweep checks widths of 320, 256, 224, 192, 160, 128, 112, 96, 80, 64, 48, 32, 24 and 16 pixels, including the quiet zone and any caption. It reports the smallest tested width that returned the exact payload, not a physical print minimum or an exhaustive threshold. A pass only describes this decoder and this image. Calculate a print starting point and test the final material with real phones.
Choose the destination
Link to a maintained catalog or reading-guide page. Choose an institutional URL that can survive staff changes rather than a personal account link.
Place it where people can scan
Place the label where it does not obscure bibliographic information or bend over the spine. Test it through the actual protective cover.
Make this template your own
The generator is set to website url with the caption “EXTRA READING.” Its sample content is illustrative. Replace it, read the encoded content back and download your preferred print file. The code stores your final content directly, so check spelling and destination ownership before committing it to a physical item.
The distance shown above is a chosen planning example, not a measured limit for this use case. REHAU's distance-to-width rule gives a starting point. DENSO WAVE's module and margin guidance adds the print-density check. Use the calculator with your actual QR version and expected printer resolution; a dense payload may need a larger symbol than the distance rule alone suggests.
Check the real-world result
Keep the destination accessible from outside the library network if readers will use it at home. Provide a short catalog reference as a non-camera alternative.
Keep the full blank border around the code. Recheck it after putting the image into the final layout, because resizing, cropping and export settings can change the result. Save the approved artwork and the exact payload together so a later reprint can be compared with the original.
